Donald Trump proposes three debates to Kamala Harris in September

MIAMI, Florida, USA – This Thursday, former US president and Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trumpproposed three debates to his Democratic rival, Kamala Harriswhich would take place on September 4, 10 and 25.

During a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago residence, the former president proposed three face to face on Fox, ABC and NBC instead of the Sept. 10 broadcast on ABC.

“We are anxiously awaiting the (televised debate) dates of September 4, 10 and 25” because “I think we have to say things clearly,” said the former Republican president (2017-2021) in his first public appearance since Harris chose the Governor of Minnesota Tim Walz as his running mate.

ABC News said today that it has agreed to broadcast the presidential debate on September 10, preceded by the one on Fox on September 4. The face-to-face on NBC would be on September 25.

At Thursday’s press conference, he attacked Harris and said that if the Democratic vice president is elected president of the United States, “our country will be a giant failure, a failure like no other in the world.”

He added that Harris is “worse” than Biden, more “incompetent,” that she “destroyed” San Francisco and California with her policies and that she has tried to instrumentalize the system against him, although fortunately she “won” the case opened in Florida and her lawyers are trying to delay the other open cases.

He said he believes Harris “is collapsing” and that this fall will be final when Americans “find out about the poor job she (Harris) has done on the southern border with Mexico.

“She tries to say that she had nothing to do with the border, but she was appointed to run the border. She never went there. She went to a place, but it was a place she would love to go to dinner with her husband, a place that was not part of the problem and was not near the border,” he said.

Trump said that “we have the worst border in the history of the world,” with millions of undocumented people entering, something that “our country cannot sustain.”

“Our country is sinking because of this, because of incompetent people. So I look forward to these debates,” said the former president shortly before offering the dates of the possible face-to-face with Harris, debates that he assured would be “very revealing.”

On the other hand, he pointed out that polls indicate that he is doing very well in attracting African-American, Hispanic and Jewish voters and that he has much greater, very high support among white voters.

And this is so, he stressed, “because I am going to give them protection, security and jobs. I am going to give them a good economy.”

“We have a very bad economy at the moment. We could be in the middle of a depression, not a recession; a depression, and you can’t have that. So I think I’ll do well with everybody, especially when the facts are known,” he warned.

Trump’s running mate, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, has criticized Harris for not holding a press conference or sitting for interviews since the president Joe Biden He stepped aside from his presidential re-election campaign and she launched her campaign for the White House.

“She (Harris) is not going to do any press conferences, because she doesn’t know. She’s not smart enough to do a press conference, and I’m sorry,” said the former president today from his residence in South Florida, USA.

Harris and her number two, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, are in the midst of a tour of key states for the November elections, which will take them to Arizona today and Nevada on Friday, both with a high Latino population.
