While the whole world is watching the detention of Donald Trump, NFT collections depicting the former American president in prison clothes have also exploded.
If we remember, the official Trump-themed NFT collection was published at the end of last year, the news of which was confirmed by Trump himself in a Truth Social post. 45,000 Trump NFTs were created on Polygon’s blockchain and sold for $99 each. Now, the NFT collection called Trump Criminal Digital Cards was created as an exact unlicensed copy of the collection in question – with the difference that Trump “his wonderful oeuvre” instead, it commemorates the ongoing political scandal. By the way, the collection of 945 different NFTs launched regarding two weeks ago, when speculation intensified that the former US president had paid off and threatened porn actress Stormy Daniels to keep quiet regarding their affair before the 2016 election.
A collection megadreamers used a pixelated version of Trump’s released collections to create the NFTs, which now depict the former US president in a prison cell and various prison outfits. According to Nansen data, the floor price of the collection is 0.017 ETH, i.e. $32 at the time of writing, and its trading volume has increased by 3600% over the past day. It currently has a market cap of 12 ETH (regarding $23K) – compared to the total market cap of the official collection, which is $42 million, according to Price Floor.
