Don Francisco Reacts to Granddaughter Nicole Numhauser’s Same-Sex Marriage in Santiago, Chile

Nicole Numhauser, Don Francisco’s granddaughter, married his girlfriend, Stephanie Bruce, on December 3, in a spectacular wedding in Santiago, Chile.

After almost six months, the famous presenter finally reacted publicly to the important event that marked the life of the couple.

It was during his participation in the program ‘Te paso a buscar’, directed by Pancho Saavedra, that Don Francisco spoke regarding it.

Although the broadcast will premiere on May 27, the portal tvdaldía released a preview. In it, the person who was the owner of Sábado Gigante appears talking regarding the union of Nicole and Stephanie.

“We have to adapt to changing times,” said the 82-year-old communicator, who attended the liaison with his wife, Teresa Muchnik.

Mario Kreutzberger, real name of the Chilean, made clear his way of thinking regarding same-sex marriages.

“Societies are also improving and learning, they are balancing. Historically, the world lives on that balance,” she explained.

Days following the ceremony in which he said “Yes, I accept”, Don Francisco’s own granddaughter revealed that it was she who asked Stephanie to get married, following five years of relationship.

“If it had been possible before, I would have done it, because for me it is not a bad thing and it does not generate rejection. If it bothers someone, I’m sorry, but I don’t care, ”he told the newspaper Las Últimas Noticias.

She even asserted that if she exposes her romance on social networks, it is to, in a certain way, motivate those who are afraid to admit their sexual orientation.

“People say, ‘Yeah, you know what, if she or this other person did it, why not me?’ In the end, it ends up being an example for everyone, ”she commented.

“Maybe they think: ‘Maybe because he has a known family, he’s not going to make it public,’ or something like that, but I always have,” he added.

Although Don Francisco did not post photos of the nuptials on his Instagram profile, his daughter Vivi, Nicole’s mother, did boast a video on her account.

“How nice to see the children fulfilled and happy! Every day we advance more, just a few months ago this celebration might not have happened, not everyone was allowed to love whoever they wanted, but whoever society allowed, today love is love! Period, ”he noted in the description.

Don Francisco’s granddaughter always received support

In June 2021, talking with Martín Cárcamo from the ‘show’ ‘De tú a tú’, Nicole Numhauser assured that Don Francisco and the rest of his loved ones understood her when she confessed her preferences.

“(My mom helped me a lot) when I told her that I liked women. I don’t know if I felt support like it saved my life by not judging me, but not looking at me ugly, being there, accepting the partner I had (…) was (sensational)”, she narrated.

“Not only her, my dad, my brothers (they understood me), it was a relief. (…) Even my grandparents, who are 80 years old, everything has always been so rich and calm in the family that it has marked me in some way, ”she added.
