Domino’s updates service via WhatsApp with chatbot and more efficient AI

The Domino’s pizzeria chain announced this Monday the launch of an improved version of its service via WhatsApp for Android and iOS devices. The innovation, driven by generative artificial intelligence developed by Botmaker, the leading chatbot platform in Latin America, has been in operation since November 2023.

The main objective of the update is to optimize customers’ shopping experience, offering more personalized and efficient service. From now on, users will be able to explore a more intuitive catalog, highlighting the most popular flavors, desserts, drinks and sideseliminating the need to access other applications or pages.

AI selects the 30 best-selling products in different categories, presenting customers with the desired options quickly.

Regarding payments, Domino’s identified that customers’ preference is to make payment at the time of delivery, speeding up the order completion process. However, for greater convenience, the online payment option is also available, accepting credit, debit cards, tickets or cash, both at the time of purchase and upon delivery.

After completing the transaction, consumers can easily track the delivery status directly via WhatsApp, in addition to participating in satisfaction surveys to provide feedback about the experience. With this initiative, Domino’s reinforces its commitment to providing a more agile and personalized shopping journey for its customers, using artificial intelligence as an ally in this process.
