In a post on InstagramRico explained that following investigation work, the officers of the Scientific Police managed to capture a woman who planned the theft of 500 dollars in cash and the murder of her boss, Wilmer Rafael Bolívar Cueva, 59 years old.

The uniformed officers determined that the detainee, identified as Betzaira Ludmila Ávila Izturiz, 54, provided services to the lender as a domestic employee and planned with a neighbor, nicknamed El Gocho, to enter the house, murder the man and seize the money.

Rico assured that the victim was in his room when he heard cries for help. Upon leaving, he observed Gocho, who entered the building through a hole in one of the steel sheets in the bathroom; he hit Bolívar on the head with a sledgehammer and a shovel, leaving him without vital signs. The man took the $500 and fled.

Ávila, when giving his testimony, had many discrepancies and changed versions, proving that he participated in the robbery and homicide. She was placed under the order of the 14th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the state of Aragua.
