A 31-year-old foreigner was arrested for pimping in the area of Metaxourgeio on the evening of Good Friday (03.05.24), following investigations into an incident of domestic violence.
Police officers of the Organized Crime and Human Trafficking Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate arrested the 31-year-old in the area of Metaxourgeio for pimping, violation of the laws on addictive substances and weapons and for possession of travel documents of third parties.
As reported by ELAS, in the context of investigating an incident of domestic violence and with the assistance of police officers from the DIAS Team, the police located the 31-year-old man together with 2 women in an apartment in Metaxourgeio.
From the preliminary investigation, it emerged that the 31-year-old has a rich past, since at least since the end of 2023 he had been promoting and exploiting women, whom he transported to brothels in the center of Athens.
In fact, he had been arrested in the past for similar offences.
After a search at his house, they found and confiscated:
-3.9- grams crystal methamphetamine,
taser,
third party asylum seeker card and
a number of handwritten notes regarding the planning of amorous rendezvous and the division of the proceeds.
The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor”.
