The Municipal Works Directorate (DOM) together with the Ministry of Health, inaugurated the new Health House in the El Volcán canton, Yoloaiquín, Morazán Sur, with which they will guarantee free and quality medical care to more than 1,200 inhabitants .
The new medical unit has a team of health professionals of more than 20 doctors, six nurses, two psychologists, two pharmacists, two nutritionists and two health educators, who will provide services such as: general consultation, ophthalmology, optometry, dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics, psychology, dentistry and nutrition.
In addition, they will offer curative care services, control of chronic non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and cures.
They also include a patient selection area, waiting room, pharmacy, management, nebulization (respiratory therapy), sterilization, an office, dressing area, internal circulation, bathrooms, a ramp, cistern and elevated tank to guarantee the water supply. , green areas and bioinfectious area.
