Doha: Qatar is preparing to celebrate the National Day. As part of this, public holidays in Qatar have been announced. December 17 and 18 (Sunday and Monday) will be a holiday for government employees. Qatar National Day is celebrated on December 18 every year. The private sector will have a holiday on Monday, December 18. This was informed by the Emir of Qatar.

Celebrations are going to take place that evoke the history and heritage of Qatar. About 100 programs are planned. The program has started since the previous day. The program will continue till December 18.
The program is conducted in coordination with partners from the public and private sectors. Spread over an area of ​​1.50 lakh square meters, Darb Al Sae has various programs. It has been informed that the holiday will be given on 18th instead of 18th as it is an official public holiday.
