Does yogurt raise blood sugar?
Dr. Ahmed Anwar, a consultant for diabetes and endocrinology, said that yogurt contributes to raising the sugar level in the body naturally because it is dairy, explaining that it is common for dairy to raise blood sugar, but yogurt does not cause any noticeable harm.
Is yogurt forbidden for diabetics?
The diabetes and endocrinology consultant explained that yogurt is not one of the foods prohibited for diabetics, but it is preferable to eat it over suhoor in its natural form.

Mix yogurt with fruit and white mountain honey
Anwar added that it is possible to put additives on the yogurt cup, such as fresh natural fruit pieces, explaining that in this case it does not significantly affect blood sugar, as well as natural white mountain honey whose source is known, so it does not contribute to raising the level of sugar in the blood dramatically.

The diabetes and endocrinology consultant warned once morest mixing jam or white sugar with yogurt, stressing that this wrong food habit will greatly affect blood sugar, leading to a rise in it.
