Does wearing a mask still make sense in the medical community?

Almost three years since confinement was decreed in Belgium following the coronavirus epidemic. It was on March 17, 2020 that Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès announced the lockdown. Since then, life has resumed. The masks have fallen, almost everywhere. For almost a year, masks have only been compulsory in three places in Wallonia and Brussels: hospitals, medical offices (at the doctor’s) and in pharmacies.

An obligation that raises questions. The fed up is rising within the medical profession (and other professions working in hospitals) forced to wear a mask all day in all circumstances within the hospital. Caregivers wonder, for example, does wearing a mask during an orthopedic consultation still make sense?
