AFTER coming out with the first single Tau Diri and the second single Panggung Besar, the finalist of Stand Up Comedy Indonesia season 4, Dodit Mulyanto, has released another single entitled Ku Kira Mimpi.
The plan is that the three singles will be included in Dodit Mulyanto’s music album, entitled Story of My Life.
The man who has been in the entertainment world for more than 10 years is not only skilled at putting together comedy material and entertaining with his funny content, but is also skilled at playing music, creating songs and singing.
What’s more special is that all the guitar solo parts in each song are played by this former junior high school geography teacher himself.

Apart from the comedic lyrics, Dodit’s part in playing the melody guitar is enough to make us amazed by his talent.
Just like the previous singles, the song Ku Kira Mimpi also still has a theme of love. A love that did not last long and left painful wounds in Dodit’s past. But, if a joke repeated twice cannot make us laugh, why should a sad story repeated twice continue to make us sad? That is the message that Dodit wants to convey in this song.

“Strong in looking at the beauty of the world” is the suggestion that Dodit wants to instill in order to continue his life.
The music is light, cheerful and easy listening. The refrain is easy to remember following listening to it twice.
This Javanese man with a very loveable face and appearance was indeed first introduced to music before he got to know stand up comedy. He became a music lover and player while living his youth with lots of love and relationships.

Some of her love stories ended well, but there were also some that left wounds. She let the wounds and heartbreak remain while she worked and continued her life to be better. The heartbreak actually became a beautiful story that inspired her to continue to be happy and continue to be grateful.
Comedians are indeed synonymous with multi-talented individuals. Several Indonesian comedians have branched out into the world of film, music, content and other works of art. Dodit Mulyanto is one of them.
With this third single, Dodit proves his seriousness in the music world. Now, his fans will wait for his consistency.
Hopefully it’s not just a momentary euphoria and hopefully Dodit will soon release the Story of My Life album and satisfy his fans’ longing.
