**Host:** Let’s start with the big news – your signing with the Dodgers. What was it like when you got the call?



**Hyeseong Kim:** It was a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to play in the Major Leagues, and to be joining such a prestigious institution like the Dodgers is truly astonishing.



**Host:** We certainly know you’re a phenomenal defensive player, but what can Dodgers fans expect from you at the plate?



**Hyeseong Kim:** I work hard every day to improve my hitting. I’m confident in my abilities and I’m excited to show Dodgers fans what I can do offensively.



**Host:** You’ve spent your career in Korea, playing for the Kiwoom Heroes. What are some of the differences you anticipate between playing in the KBO and MLB?



**Hyeseong Kim:** I think the biggest adjustment will be the level of competition. the MLB is the best baseball league in the world, and I know I’ll be facing the best players every night. I’m excited for the challenge.
