Marvel announced Doctor Strange 2in the Multiverse of Madness, will hit Indonesian cinemas on May 5, 2022.
The announcement of Doctor Strange 2 in Indonesia is a day earlier than the broadcast schedule in the United States which falls on May 6, 2022.
“Stand yourself and your patience to watch Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness in theaters, May 5, 2022,” wrote Marvel Indonesia in a tweet on Twitter, Monday (25/4).
In the upload, Marvel displays a photo of the scene of Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch.
The existence of the Sacred Witch was previously shown in the teaser trailer for Doctor Strange 2 which was released on December 23, 2021.
The teaser trailer shows a number of scenes where Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) was last known to be studying Darkhold and trying to learn to control the Chaos Magic she was experiencing.
When Stephen finds Wanda in the trailer, the witch seems to be living in peace on a plantation, and is aware of what she’s doing in Westview. But Stephen didn’t talk about Westview but the multiverse.
There are a number of assumptions that Scarlet Witch is a villain in the Multiverse of Madness. But at least in this trailer, called Screen Rant, Wanda is still an ally of Doctor Strange.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the second Doctor Strange (2016) saga and will take place after Spider-Man No Way Home, WandaVision, and Loki.
Benedict Cumberbatch still stars in the film, along with Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda/Scarlet Witch.
