Doctor shoots 16-year-old autistic son with hunting weapon then commits suicide

A general practitioner from Beaufays put an end to the life of his 16-year-old son with a hunting weapon before turning the weapon once morest him. The dead bodies were found by the doctor’s wife. Disbelief reigns in Beaufays.

A family drama of nameless sadness occurred, probably this Friday morning, in an opulent villa in Beaufays. A 40-year-old man and his 16-year-old son died, shot dead. The father of the family (photo) ended his son’s life with a hunting weapon before turning the gun on himself.

The facts were confirmed by the Liège prosecutor’s office, via Catherine Collignon, first substitute in charge of the General and Organized Crime section.
