Do you suffer from insomnia in Ramadan? Here are 3 habits that help you sleep better

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)–Some may feel that their sleep schedules change when Ramadan approaches. And if you start to suffer from insomnia, there are some solutions you can do to get a sound sleep.

The Gulf Health Council shared, through its official account on Twitter, the causes of insomnia during Ramadan, in addition to some habits that you can do to help you sleep.

The causes of insomnia during the month of Ramadan include the following:

  • Sudden changes in sleeping times compared to before Ramadan
  • Unsuitable sleeping environment
  • Eating fatty foods during Suhoor time, which leads to discomfort and reflux reflux
  • Take stimulants before bed

As for the habits that help you sleep deeply, they include the following:

  • Practice relaxation techniques such as breathing and relaxation exercises
  • Using sleep stimuli such as going to bed before bedtime and staying away from the mobile phone
  • Maintain a consistent bedtime
