Now the police are releasing a picture of one of the people they suspect of having been involved in the assault.
– Our further work on the case has identified three men who we suspect of having committed this gross assault together, says the head of the investigation, Police Commissioner Kenneth Rodam.
The police have chosen to publish a picture of the one suspected perpetrator:
A 23-year-old man, 165 cm tall, of average build, wearing dark clothes at the time of the crime. The police know the full identity of this suspect.
If you have information about the person’s whereabouts, you must immediately contact Nordjylland’s Police on telephone 114 – inform the police. You must not try to apprehend him yourself.
Looking for two other people
In addition to the person of whom the police have now published pictures, a further 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old man are being sought.
All three suspects are from the Aarhus area. Kenneth Rodam encourages the three men to report themselves to the police.
– We continue to work on the case; including some video surveillance material, where we are investigating the possibility of publishing additional images, says Kenneth Rodam.
He also states that the assault has no relation to the pending gang conflict and that the persons have a prior relationship with each other.

**Interview with Dr. Linda Thompson, Media Scholar and AI Expert**
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Dr. Thompson. With the increasing use of AI in journalism, many are curious about its implications. What are some of the key benefits you’ve observed about AI in journalistic practices?
**Dr. Thompson:** Thank you for having me. One of the most significant benefits of AI in journalism is its ability to process vast amounts of data quickly. Journalists can leverage these tools to identify trends, gather insights, and even generate initial drafts of articles, helping them focus more on investigative work and storytelling.
**Editor:** That sounds promising! However, there are concerns about AI producing superficial or inaccurate content. How do you think journalists can address these challenges while using AI?
**Dr. Thompson:** That’s an important point. Journalists must act as gatekeepers. By using AI as a support tool rather than a replacement, they can ensure the integrity of the information. It’s crucial to fact-check and validate AI-generated content before publication, maintaining a critical eye on the outputs.
**Editor:** You mentioned using AI for data processing. Are there specific scenarios where AI has proven particularly useful in the newsroom?
**Dr. Thompson:** Absolutely! For example, during breaking news, AI can analyze social media trends and generate summaries from various sources almost instantaneously. Moreover, in investigative journalism, AI can assist in sifting through large datasets to uncover hidden patterns or connections that might take a human much longer to discern.
**Editor:** As more journalists adopt AI tools, what skills do you think will become essential in the field moving forward?
**Dr. Thompson:** Journalists will need to develop a stronger understanding of data literacy—being able to interpret and analyze data effectively. Additionally, skills in ethical AI use and critical thinking will be paramount, ensuring they can assess the credibility of both AI-generated information and sources.
**Editor:** Those are insightful points. how do you envision the future of journalism in light of these changes?
**Dr. Thompson:** I believe that the future of journalism will be a hybrid model. Journalists who embrace AI will find new ways to enhance their storytelling and reporting, ushering in an era of more dynamic and personalized news experiences while still upholding journalistic standards and integrity.
**Editor:** Thank you, Dr. Thompson, for shedding light on these important issues. Your insights into AI’s role in the future of journalism are invaluable.
**Dr. Thompson:** Thank you for having me!
