“Timely testing allows the prevention of infections, which is why it is a key aspect of the strategy to face the covid-19 pandemic,” says the Ministry of Health (Minsal), regarding the Antigen test in 3 steps.
It is a self-examination and subsequent self-report, which can be accessed thanks to the Cenabast Law, at a price of less than 3,000 pesos, in certain associated pharmacies in the country.
How where to buy the Antigen Test in 3 steps?
Last September, the Minsal announced the new self-examination through the Antigen test in 3 stepsapproved by the Institute of Public Health (ISP) and whose price is affordable for everyone.

According to what was explained by the Health entity, to buy the Antigen test in 3 stepspeople must go to the respective pharmacy, with their identity card.
Why do they ask for identification? Well, the exam is associated with a page to self-report in case of testing positive for covid-19.
And how many can I buy? You can buy a maximum of 4 tests, in a period of 30 days, without prescriptions or medical orders.
How is the self-exam done?
The Minsal, through its website, explains how to use the Antigen test in 3 stepswhose instructions do not differ from other similar tests:
1. Clean the area where the kit will be handled.
2. Take out of the box all the test elements.
3. Introduce the swab into the 2 nostrils and rub it for 5 seconds.
4. Introduce the swab into the tube with the liquid, rotate it and press it for 5 seconds.
5. Close the tube and drop 3 drops into the cassette.
6. Wait 5 minutes and review the result.

Whatever the result of 3 step antigen test the user must make a self-report to the Minsal.
