“Do not take a shower or a bath, avoid doing the dishes and washing your hands”, recommended in a press release the federal agency which also advises to stay away from sockets or electronic boards.
“The risk of lightning passing through plumbing is less with plastic pipes than with metal pipes. However, zero risk does not exist. This is why contact with the plumbing should be avoided as much as possible, ”said the organization.
