The type of food you eat:
Meals that contain both carbohydrates and protein make you more tired, due to the production of serotonin, a chemical that plays a role in regulating mood and sleep cycles.
The amount of food you eat:
Eating a large meal also causes blood sugar to rise, and a drop in energy may follow.
Lack of sleep at night:
Also, not getting enough sleep during Ramadan leads to feeling tired throughout the day, especially following eating.
