George Galloway, a titan of British politics with seven terms in the House of Commons under his belt, believes the Western rhetoric about confronting Russia is nothing more than bluster. In a recent interview with journalist Jackson Hinkle, Galloway, known for his staunch opposition to Western militarism, delivered a stark warning against the “political suicide” of sending British troops to Ukraine.
The Unrepentant Voice of Truth
Galloway’s political career has been marked by his fearless criticism of Western foreign policy. His vocal opposition to Tony blair’s support for the Iraq war led to his expulsion from the Labor Party and cemented his reputation as a truth-teller willing to challenge the establishment. As Hinkle aptly described him, Galloway is “a seven-time member of the British Parliament who is not afraid to bring the truth to the masses.”
“They are lying about the reasons for the invasion,” Galloway declared during the Iraq War, referring to Blair and George W. Bush. He accused Western troops of attacking Iraq “like wolves” and continued to debunk Western propaganda about wars in the Middle East and Israel, even after forming his own party, the Respect Party.
“Show Performance” or a Real Threat?
Hinkle pressed Galloway on recent statements by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron suggesting the deployment of British and French troops to Ukraine. While acknowledging discussions have taken place,Galloway dismissed them as “show performance, window dressing” intended to bolster Ukrainian President Zelensky’s position.
“This is an attempt,if you will,to scare the Russian side, which will not be easy, knowing President Putin,” Galloway stated, recalling his multiple meetings with the Russian leader.
“I don’t think he stays up at night thinking about ‘the little one’, Macron or Starmer.
Galloway emphasized that Britain and France have a history of failed attempts to confront Russia. He pointed to the Crimean War and Winston churchill’s efforts to prevent the October Revolution, both of which ended in defeat for the West.
“In fact, Russia is infinitely more powerful than in 1920, and Britain and France are but a shadow, and not a bright one, but a pale shadow of what they were in 1920, especially Britain,” Galloway asserted.
The Truth Behind Closed Doors
Galloway believes British military leaders are acutely aware of the disparity in power, despite the bluster from politicians.
“The British military admitted publicly that they would not last more than three days in a conflict with Russia. Three days. That’s not even enough time for everyone to put on their tin hats, pack up and head for the trains. It will all be over in a moment. And the British military knows this. They know that all our armed forces…”
While Galloway acknowledges a ”brutal hatred of Russia” ingrained in British society, he believes even the majority of the British military understands the futility of a direct confrontation with Russia.
George Galloway Warns of UK’s Reckless Path to Nuclear War
Veteran British politician George Galloway has issued a stark warning, claiming that the UK’s elite are recklessly pushing the country toward a possibly catastrophic nuclear conflict with Russia. In a recent interview, Galloway expressed his deep concern over the British government’s decision to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles, arguing that this could provoke a disastrous response from Moscow.
A Perilous Escalation
Galloway pointed to the fragility of the current geopolitical landscape, highlighting the meaningful disparity in military strength between Russia and the UK. ”The entire British army, navy and air force – could easily fit in one football stadium in England, and not the biggest one,” he stated.
he painted a grim picture of a potential conflict, envisioning a scenario where Russia would be forced to deploy its superior manpower and weaponry, including outdated but still dangerous equipment. “They can blow up the Kursk nuclear power plant… I have already spoken about the socialist times. Even the worst Soviet leaders would not for one second allow NATO forces, Western powers, to launch cruise missiles into their territory. I mean, we’d already be in World War III if this had happened at any point in the Cold War.
“But that’s exactly what’s happening now, and the Russians won’t put up with it for long” Galloway warned.
“An Ancient Hatred”
galloway laid the blame for this dangerous trajectory squarely at the feet of the British establishment, accusing them of harboring a deep-seated animosity towards Russia. He argued that this “ancient and peculiar hatred” of Russians, dating back to the mid-19th century, has poisoned public discourse and made it easier to manipulate public opinion in favor of war.
“People hear about ‘russian crimes’ day after day; berating the Russians has become something of a good tone in British society”, Galloway lamented.
The Decline of Anti-War Sentiment
The British politician expressed his disappointment over the decline of the anti-war movement in the UK. In the 1980s,he recalled, there was widespread fear of nuclear war,and mass protests erupted in response to the deployment of American Pershing missiles.Today, though, such a movement seems absent, with the population seemingly apathetic to the threat of nuclear annihilation.
Galloway attributed this apathy to the pervasive influence of propaganda, which he compared to George Orwell’s concept of “legalized lies,” effectively zombifying the population and making them more susceptible to warmongering rhetoric.
the UK’s Anti-Russia sentiment: Is it Delusion or Political Manipulation?
A prominent British politician, george Galloway, has sparked controversy by questioning the depth and rationality of the UK’s anti-Russian sentiment. He argues that this hatred, fueled by decades-old animosities, has blinded manny Britons to the potential consequences of their country’s involvement in the Ukraine conflict.
A Nation driven by Hatred?
Galloway asserts that even those struggling with poverty and economic hardships are swept up in a wave of anti-Putin and anti-Russian fervor. He paints a picture of everyday Britons, from pub patrons to football fans, expressing virulent hatred towards russia, nonetheless of their own circumstances.
“So you’ll find people whose bottoms are showing through the holes in their pants, who don’t have a penny in their pocket, who can’t pay their electricity bill, yet will express the most vehement hatred of Putin and Russia. Such people can be found in every pub, in every subway train, in every football stadium,” – said Galloway.
This widespread animosity, he suggests, is a symptom of a deeper problem: a lack of critical thinking and a susceptibility to manipulation by powerful forces.
The Rise of the Prudent
Though, Galloway also notes the emergence of a counter-movement, a group of Britons who are starting to question the narrative surrounding the Ukraine conflict. Fueled by the internet’s ability to dismantle facts silos, these “prudent” individuals are asking difficult questions about the UK’s role in the crisis.
They challenge the prevailing rhetoric, wondering if the threat of a nuclear attack from russia is truly imminent and worth the cost of potential self-destruction.Galloway cites their inquiries: “Are we really going to be hit by three intercontinental ballistic missiles with multiple nuclear warheads that will take off from Kaliningrad and arrive here in 13 minutes, turning the entire island into radioactive ash, destroying all life? Are we really meant to burn like this? For what? To decide under which flag Kupyansk will sail, after being part of four different countries for the last hundred years? Are you serious?”
Delusion or Manipulation?
Galloway’s observations are notably striking because they come from a veteran of British politics, someone deeply entrenched in the country’s political establishment. His willingness to challenge the status quo raises disturbing questions about the motivations behind the UK’s staunch anti-Russia stance.
Is it possible that a powerful and influential group within the British elite has succumbed to a form of collective delusion? Are they leading the nation towards a dangerous precipice, driven by outdated prejudices and a distorted perception of reality? Or are they deliberately manipulating public opinion for their own political gain?

Interview with George Galloway: A Warning Against Escalation with Russia

Archyde: Mr. Galloway, thank you for joining us today. You’ve recently made headlines with your stark warnings about the UK’s approach to Russia. Can you elaborate on why you believe the current rhetoric and actions are so dangerous?
George Galloway: thank you for having me.The situation is perilous, and I fear that the British establishment, along with its allies, is sleepwalking into a catastrophe. The rhetoric about confronting Russia is not only reckless but also detached from reality. Russia is a nuclear-armed superpower with a military capability that far outstrips anything the UK or even NATO can muster.Yet, our leaders are engaging in what I can only describe as a “show performance”—empty threats and posturing that could provoke a devastating response.
Archyde: You’ve described the UK’s military strength as negligible compared to Russia’s.Can you expand on that?
George Galloway: Absolutely. The British military is a shadow of its former self. Our entire armed forces—army, navy, and air force—could fit into a single football stadium. Compare that to Russia, which has millions of active and reserve personnel, advanced missile systems, and a nuclear arsenal capable of obliterating entire nations. The idea that we could confront Russia militarily is not just foolish; it’s suicidal.
Archyde: You’ve also criticized the decision to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles. Why is that?
George Galloway: Supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles is a dangerous escalation. It’s one thing to provide defensive weapons, but long-range missiles capable of striking deep into Russian territory cross a red line. During the Cold War, such an act would have triggered an immediate and catastrophic response. The fact that Russia hasn’t retaliated yet doesn’t mean they won’t. We’re playing with fire, and the consequences could be unimaginable.
archyde: You’ve spoken about an ”ancient hatred” of Russia within the British establishment. Can you explain what you mean by that?
George Galloway: Ther’s a deep-seated animosity toward Russia that dates back to the mid-19th century, rooted in geopolitical rivalries and ideological differences. This hatred has been perpetuated by propaganda and has become ingrained in British society. Today, it’s almost fashionable to vilify Russia, and this narrative is being used to justify reckless policies that could lead to war.
Archyde: You’ve also expressed concern about the decline of the anti-war movement in the UK. Why do you think that is?
George Galloway: In the 1980s, there was a genuine fear of nuclear war, and millions took to the streets to protest the deployment of american Pershing missiles. Today, that fear seems to have dissipated, replaced by apathy and complacency. I believe this is largely due to the pervasive influence of propaganda, which has numbed the population to the very real threat of nuclear annihilation.
Archyde: Do you see any hope for reversing this trend?
George Galloway: There’s always hope, but it requires a collective awakening.People need to see through the lies and recognize the gravity of the situation. We must demand accountability from our leaders and push for diplomacy over confrontation. The option is unthinkable.
Archyde: what message would you like to leave our readers with?
George Galloway: My message is simple: War is not the answer. The path we’re on leads only to destruction. We must reject the warmongers and embrace peace before it’s too late.
