Minuto30.com .- Once again, international alarms are sounding and looking towards Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro would be closing the door to all international observers who do not support “his dictatorial project.”

An example of this is what happened this Friday, July 26, when a flight leaving Panama for Caracas was not allowed to take off from Central America with several Latin American politicians, who were planning to attend the elections that will take place next Sunday, July 28.

Among the passengers on the Copa flight were former Vice President of Colombia Marta Lucia Ramírez; former President of Panama Mireya Moscoso; former President of Mexico Vicente Fox; and former President of Bolivia Tuto Quiroga.

Neither Chileans, nor Spanish, nor Colombians

Maduro also did not allow commissions from the Popular Party of Spain to enter the country.

In addition, two Chilean senators were deported, prompting Boric’s government to lodge a formal protest with the Venezuelan government.

Senator Angeliza Lozano and former mayor of Bogotá Claudia López were also deported from Colombia

Other international observers, critical of the Chavista process, have also been unable to enter Venezuela; something that had been foreseen since days before, when Diosdado Cabello assured that “they are not going to come here to bother.”

Maduro loses even the support of the Latin American left

An indication that Nicolás Maduro’s situation in the region is not the best is the fact that left-wing governments such as those in Brazil and Chile have called for “free and fair elections.”

This Sunday, July 28, Venezuela has the opportunity to change its course, as it experiences an election day in which the candidates are the ruling party candidate Nicolás Maduro and the opposition candidate Edmundo González Urrutia supported by María Corina Machado.
