The administration indicated that 5 secure parking spaces have been allocated for vehicles coming from outside Mecca at the entrances to Mecca, and the use of shuttle buses to the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

The administration indicated that these vehicles can be easily accessed by scanning the barcode specified for each “attached” parking lot, and the residents of Makkah can access the “9” internal parking and stations.

The administration confirmed that there are no fees for parking spaces designated for vehicles, explaining that it is a free service for vehicles of pilgrims authorized to perform Umrah.

It also pointed out that it is allowed to enter private transport vehicles “taxis”, to deliver authorized pilgrims to perform Umrah to their residence and enter the central area of ​​the Great Mosque of Mecca.

The General Directorate of Traffic warned that whoever is caught coming to perform Umrah without a permit, will pay a fine of 10,000 riyals.
