Do not take headache medicines anymore for this reason!

Many people turn to over-the-counter medications as a quick fix for headaches and headaches, but health experts advise in a new study to take a simple step before resorting to this procedure.

The study confirms that drinking water helps relieve headaches, because it may be caused by a lack of fluid in the body.

A recent survey by OnePoll found that people tend to reach for over-the-counter medications to treat symptoms usually associated with dehydration, rather than drinking a glass of water.

The survey showed that 63% of people tend to take pain relievers when they feel uncomfortable, and this is what many of them do to treat headaches, while 43% of people said that they take medicine that does not require a prescription, while it was found that only 16% of them take a cup of Water as a headache remedy.

“This is why health experts suggest that headaches and other common symptoms of dehydration can often be reminded of drinking water,” the study says.

She also noted that “the main problem is that taking painkillers for headaches without understanding the source of the pain means that you are treating the symptoms, not the cause.”

“A lot of times when we feel tired or have a headache, we think we need to eat or reach for medication, but we really need to drink water,” said Dr. Dana Cohen, a consultant with Essentia Water Health & Wellness Advisor.

“The researchers speculate that these ill effects are like an ‘alarm system’ built into your brain, directing you to the fact that your body needs water ASAP.”

Common symptoms of dehydration include headache, dizziness, dry mouth or skin, fatigue, constipation, and indigestion.
