Do baboons have anything to do with “smallpox”… The wild life answers and reveals this fact

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The National Center for Wildlife Development issued a statement denying any announcement of the relationship of baboons to smallpox, noting that the main source of the center’s data is its official media channels only.

The center explained that it has been implementing a program for months to assess the damage caused by the increasing number of monkeys; Including health damage in general and finding appropriate solutions to reduce these damages.

The center reported the deployment of field teams comprising of elite scientists, experts, scientists and veterinarians to conduct a field survey to document their locations. Noting that After the survey is completed, the team will work on integrated plans to reduce the number of baboons and return them to their natural habitats.

On the other hand, the center launched awareness campaigns not to feed baboons, and not to acquire and raise them in homes.
