DLSS 3 reaches more games with the new NVIDIA Game Ready

NVIDIA has announced the launch of new Game Ready drivers, designed to offer the best performance from its graphics cards in games. The new driver version is optimized for the latest titles, and enables DLSS 3 to be enabled in various games, including Marvel’s Midnight Suns, HITMAN 3, and Deliver Us Mars. Also included in the driver are pre-release optimizations for games like Dead Space and Forspoken, which will support DLSS from day one.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns was released last month and has been very well received by critics. Since its release on PC, the game has offered support for DLSS 2, as well as ray-traced reflections and ambient occlusion. Starting January 26, the PC version will be able to look even better thanks to the arrival of NVIDIA DLSS 3, which will improve performance on computers with a GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics card.

An update for HITMAN 3 will also be released on January 26, which will be renamed HITMAN World of Assassination. Under the new name, the title will also allow HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 to be played through IO Interactive’s Access Pass system. Coming free for all HITMAN 3 owners, the update will also include the option to enable DLSS 3 on compatible devices.

The latest Game Ready driver also includes optimizations for upcoming releases:

  • Dead Space will arrive on January 27 with DLSS 2.
  • Deliver US Mars will be available starting February 2 with DLSS 3, NVIDIA Reflex, and ray tracing.
  • Forspoken will be released on January 24 with DLSS 2.

NVIDIA has also released a new version of its Studio Drivers, the drivers created for professionals and design enthusiasts. The new version offers the best performance in the Adobe suite, and fixes several bugs in various applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.

Studio controllers also take advantage of the latest technology in RTX graphics cards, making use of artificial intelligence to speed up workflows in applications like Blender. To demonstrate the performance of the new drivers on a GeForce RTX 4090, artist Ducky 3D has shared a 3D animation that takes advantage of the NVIDIA OptiX AI ray tracing application.
