DJI launches new model of glasses and joystick for drone control

DJI launched this Tuesday (28) two new control glasses for the brand’s drones compatible with Goggles Integra technology, a feature that allows you to move the flying object through glasses and a joystick. The first generation of these devices pleased the user community, but with a “problem” related to the battery module.

So that the glasses might work without connection to the socket, it was necessary to carry a powerbank connected to the accessory through a wire in the pocket, an impractical method that received criticism. This possible “design flaw” has been fixed in the current generation with the battery being positioned in the rear area of the command goggle holder.

In parallel to this is the new control named DJI RC Motion 2, a device that brings some small improvements compared to its predecessor, such as refinement in the size of the joystick, increasing the range of movement with less effort, a change that should directly benefit people who use the accessory for a long time.

At the bottom there is a trigger with double action for forward and backward, so novice pilots can execute maneuvers more easily, reducing the learning window.

Both the DJI Goggles Integra and the DJI RC Motion 2 are available now, with the goggles priced at $499 and the controller at $239.
