DJI launches Mavic 3 Pro, drone with 3 cameras and ProRes support

A DJI launched today the Mavic 3 Pro, your new drone that has a triple camera system. According to the company, the device was made to capture videos and photos like no other – as it is the first on the market to bring this set.

The highlight of the drone is, without a doubt, the main camera. Hasselblad com 4/3 inch CMOS. According to DJI, in addition to being able to take 12-bit RAW photos, it is capable of recording the smallest details of an image with a natural dynamic range of up to 12.8 stops.

The second camera, a telephoto lens, has a 1/1.3″ 48-megapixel CMOS sensor. The sensor also has a 3x optical zoom and, according to DJI, is ideal for framing buildings and capturing cars in commercial videos.

The third lens has 12MP and has 7x optical zoom. Its differential is due to the hybrid zoom, which can reach up to 28x. DJI advises using this lens to observe animals “from a safe distance without disturbing them.”

When it comes to video recording, the drone can capture beautiful images at up to 5.1K at 50 frames per second or 4K DCI at 120fps. Another positive point is that the three cameras support the codecs Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422 e Apple ProRes 422 LT.

The device can also be equipped with an SSDSolid-state driveor solid-state drive.”>1 built-in 1TB memory and a data cable that can transfer files at up to 10Gb/s. In addition, it is capable of detecting obstacles and flying for up to 43 minutes without stopping, transmitting in HD for 15km.

The Mavic 3 Pro is now available for purchase on the company’s official website and on Amazon; its most basic version costs from US$2.200 (~R$11,100). The most expensive variant of the device comes out for US$4.800 (~R$24,260), which includes a more powerful drone and more robust accessories.
