Back then, we called ourselves the Southern Style DJs, ⁤him,​ me, and DJ ​Montay. We ​were young, passionate about music, and just wanted to make our mark. Anthony⁢ always had a⁣ contagious ⁣energy. He was the life ‌of⁤ the party, always ready ⁣with a smile and‍ a ⁢quick joke.

It became ‍the anthem of the South, a party staple everywhere.It reached folks across genres, got everyone out⁤ of thier seats and dancing.DJ Unk had this ability to bring his own flavor, that Southern bounce, to the mainstream and it resonated. When everyone started “walking,” you knew something big was ⁤happening.

Archyde: The music industry has lost a true talent.What do you think​ DJ Unk’s​ legacy‍ will be?

DJ Yung B: That’s a good question. Anthony always talked‍ about ‌inspiring the next generation,‌ making ‍music that brought people together.I think​ that’s what he’ll be remembered for. He wasn’t​ just about the hits; he lived for the music, for the connection⁣ with the crowd.That‌ energy, that passion, will stay with people.
