Tensions have been increasing in recent months within the M5-RFP, because of the policy of Prime Minister Choguel Maïga, who comes from the ranks of the movement. His opponents therefore decided to change the direction of the M5-RFP.

The movement created two years ago by many political actors to stand up once morest the former head of state Ibrahim Boubacar Keita is experiencing internal turbulence. At the origin of these divisions, the decisions taken by Choguel Maïga, who is one of the founders of the movement, since he became Prime Minister. His former allies are now fiercely opposed to his political convictions. And all these dissidents have therefore taken the decision to set up a new leadership within the M5-RFP.
