The associative platform, « Dictate »bringing together the daughters and sons from the Nyanga province, during a solemn declaration held on August 23, 2024 at the Libreville Chamber of Commerce, said yes to the vision of the President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, for the progressive implementation of structuring projects to bring this southeastern part of the country out of its ambient underdevelopment.

“Our province, which is totally lacking in infrastructure, including banks, production companies and higher education institutions, to name just a few, will finally experience, thanks to the liberation coup of August 30, 2023, its rise towards happiness.”declared Yolande Koumba, president of the Ditasse association, to loud applause from the audience.

Among the listed projects that Ditasse, like all the people of Nîmes, wants to see implemented to boost the development of Nyanga, there are among others, the construction of the Mayumba deep-water port, the Belinga-Mayumba railway line and the exploitation of the Milingui iron ore deposit, the reserves of which with a good content are estimated at 135 million tonnes.

Yolande Koumba also said “yes to the creation of the new Mongo breeding company to replace Siat Gabon, yes to the establishment of the Doussiegoussou Marble factory, the foundation stone of which the President laid during his visit to Tchibanga, yes to the gas plant currently being built in Mayumba.”

Ditasse, whose credo is: “a glimmer of hope found again”, also welcomed the resumption of the Pegnoundou-Tchibanga development work (about 30 km). A support that was likely to continue during the referendum scheduled for the end of next December.
