The alerts have been triggered due to intolerance that exists both among ambulance drivers and emergency medical personnel who care for those injured in accidents.
A few hours ago in Bogotá this situation was demonstrated after a video was revealed on social networks in which two officials of this type of vehicle fought over the patient, in the middle of the street and in front of everyone.
As it became known, the embarrassment occurred when a person suffered a traffic accident on a public road. Two ambulances immediately arrived on the scene to provide assistance, but instead of working together, the two paramedics in charge, a woman and a man, became involved in a heated dispute over the patient’s care.
The patient, for his part, completely bewildered by what was happening, was just waiting to be given the medical attention he required, but what happened ended up increasing his anguish and despair, since they did not provide him with the medical care due to the fight. that was unleashed.
At one point he found himself in the middle of a struggle between paramedics who were arguing and practically fighting to get him onto a stretcher.
The citizens who were present at the scene had to intervene to stop the fight between the medical assistants, managing to calm things down. However, the worry remained in the air, since no one knows what it will end up with the next time they have to go for another patient.
Some officials from the Mobility Secretariat who were also at the scene and took note of what happened. It is expected that the Bogotá Health Secretariat will also speak out and announce measures against these two companies that provide their ambulance services in the city.
