District 22: Redesign of Wagramer Straße – open lane

With the redesign of the Wagramer Strasse between Donaustadtstrasse/Siebeckstrasse and Am Langen Felde, a new green area with about 100 trees and numerous seating areas was created under the motto “Get rid of the asphalt”. More than 250 meters long “street park” brings the feel of a city park to previously gray streets, and a new 1.1 km long, structurally separated two-way cycle path will become Vienna’s first from the city to the Kagraner Complete That place for the big bike path. Road construction work in the city of Vienna – road management and road construction is proceeding as planned and progressing rapidly. The section between Kagraner Platz and Lange Felde was completed during the summer vacation.

Traffic measures from September 2 to November 1, 2024

On Wagramer Straße between Donaustadtstraße/Siebeckstraße and Am Langen Felde, traffic will once again have two lanes in each direction. All other existing traffic measures remain in place.

City of Vienna – From November 2024, road management and road construction will report separately on further traffic measures for Phase 4 of the construction.

  • Planned end of traffic measures, construction phase 3: November 1, 2024
