The mechanical facility performance inspection is a system that mandates that the management entity perform regular inspections of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation facilities to maintain the performance of mechanical facilities such as buildings and ensure safety.2 For buildings with more than 2,000 households or more, a performance check* must be conducted by December 31st, and a result report must be submitted at the request of the local government (si/gun/gu).
