Kochi | Youth Commission chairperson Chinta Jerome visited Changampuzha’s daughter Lalitha at her home in Ernakulam to explain the serious mistake in her research paper. Chintana informed the family members that it was not an intentional mistake but an accidental one. Jerome wrote in his research paper that it was Vailopilly who wrote the famous poem Vazhakula. Chinta met Jero Changampuzha’s family members with an explanation for this mistake.
It was clarified yesterday that this serious mistake in the thesis was an accidental mistake after it became controversial. Chinta described yesterday that the reference in his thesis to Vazhakula Vailopilly was a mistake. In a press conference held in Idukki, the Chairperson of the Youth Commission had explained that not a single line of the thesis had been plagiarized.
Meanwhile, the University of Kerala has started an investigation into the controversy related to Chinta’s research paper. The VC has directed the Registrar to seek clarification of the guide. Governor Arif Muhammad Khan had sought a report on the matter
