The problems that prevented ING customers from logging in on Friday followingnoon have now been resolved. They can now log in to My ING once more and transfer money.
ING customers received a message in the app that they might not log in. The bank announced via its website that there were problems with Mijn ING and Mobile Banking. A few hours later everything is working properly once more.
According to ING, the malfunction was related to internal systems. The bank will not go into details. “We have taken a number of measures that resolved this disruption and allowed all systems to gradually recover,” said a spokesperson. “We will investigate this further and will take measures to prevent this in the future.”
Recently, the bank has had to deal with faltering services remarkably often. It happened earlier this week as well. Back then, customers might not transfer money to their own accounts. The bank experienced similar malfunctions on April 24 and March 24.
