Disneyland Paris has announced its new range of annual benefits. This is far from unanimous among fans of the famous mouse who denounce a price increase and a drop in benefits.

Goodbye Minnie, Spider-Man, Mulan or even Cinderella. Mickey Mouse now looks like Uncle Scrooge. Disneyland Paris has unveiled the new range of its annual passes, now called “Disneyland Pass”. Three new price categories, “bronze”, “silver” and “gold”, once morest four so far, which allow access to advantages in the park of Marne-la-Vallée.

“We have listened carefully to your comments in order to develop a new range and thus provide you with a visit experience that takes into account your most important expectations”, writes Disneyland Paris on Facebook.

However, the new offerings aren’t going down well with fans, who don’t feel heard at all. The latter were quick to notice that the passes are more expensive than last year and offer drastically fewer advantages.

“A shame”

For many Disney fans, the offer is no longer worth it. The bronze Disneyland Pass, at 289 euros, only allows access to parking included for 170 days in the park per year. No benefits in shops or restaurants are included.

Some amusement park fans have already announced that they will not be renewing their passes. “Bye-bye Disney!”, wrote one of them.

“End of dream, the prices were already mind-blowing, we are now bordering on indecency. I understand their situation but finished for me the PA”, reacts on Twitter the streamer Jiraiya.

“A shame,” said another Internet user. “In addition to increasing their prices, Disneyland Paris is drastically reducing the benefits.”

“I’ve had annual passes for almost 20 years,” said a fan on social media. The increases I know them… but this one sounds like a real “futage of mouth”. +200€ with 75% of the advantages disappearing. How do you justify that to your most loyal customers?

The most complete pass increased by 200 euros

To have unlimited access to the park, you will now have to pay 699 euros. The “gold” pass also offers a 15% reduction in stores.

This year, Disneyland Paris offered four different passes, between 229 and 499 euros. The most complete pass called “Infinity” was therefore 200 euros less than the Disnayland “gold” pass. It also offered 20% reductions in shops and at dinner shows and advantages at Disneyland golf.

In addition, the great absence of the new Disneyland passes, to the great despair of fans, is access to Disney hotels. In 2022, it was available from the “Magicflex” pass at 319 euros. On the Facebook page dedicated to users of future Disneyland Passes, some are now calling for “a big boycott”.

The new passes will be available for sale from July 19, for those who still don’t want to say goodbye to the magic of Disney.
