The first novelties for 2023 are here – and Disney+ is jumping right in with new Star Wars content. There will be new episodes of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” at the beginning of January 2023, the 2nd season is coming up. Again there will be nothing for fans of “The Orville” – the 3rd season will celebrate its German premiere on ProSieben instead – see our post here. I’m personally looking forward to the start of the fourth and final season of “Atlanta”. What else is pending can be found in this overview.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 – Available January 4th exclusively on Disney+
Star Wars: The Bat Batch continues with Season 2: months have passed since what happened on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continue to fly through the Empire even after the fall of the Republic. The Hardy Boys – Seasons 1&2 – Coming January 18th exclusively on Disney+
After a family tragedy strikes, Frank Hardy and his brother Joe must leave the big city and spend the summer in their parents’ hometown. A quiet summer with their Aunt Trudy soon becomes something completely different for Frank and Joe when they discover that their father, Detective Fenton Hardy, is conducting a secret investigation. Extraordinary – Exclusive to Disney+ on January 25th
Welcome to a world where everyone over the age of 18 develops a superpower: That’s the idea of ”Extraordinary” – we’ve already reported more about it here. 25-year-old Jen, who is still waiting for her power, has no superpower. Jen feels left out. Her job is a dead end and her casual boyfriend Luke is a good-for-nothing with no intention of committing, which only adds to her insecurity. Luckily, Jen has her best friend, Carrie, whose never-ending optimism keeps Jen from sinking into self-pity. They share an apartment with Carrie’s long-time boyfriend Kash and a stray cat who, after an unfortunate incident, is dubbed the Jizzlord by the gang. With a little hope and a lot of desperation, Jen sets out in this confusing world in search of her possible superpower.
