Dismantling of a drug network in Chaudière-Appalaches

The Sûreté du Québec arrested three individuals for drug trafficking during a major police operation that took place this followingnoon in three towns in Chaudière-Appalaches.

The National Organized Crime Squad of the SQ struck simultaneously in Sainte-Marie en Beauce, Saint-Gervais in Bellechasse and Saint-Lazare-de-Bellechasse for the dismantling of a network of traffickers.

The searches led to the identification of the suspects for the manufacture and distribution of synthetic drugs.

In Sainte-Marie, a house located in a residential area on rue Bellevue was targeted by the operation. The SQ said it was a drug encapsulation site.

Narcotics charges might be brought once morest the individuals who were arrested and questioned by Sûreté du Québec investigators.
