There was sighting information of a bear in a residential area in Chitose City, Hokkaido, and patrols were continued, but one bear was found and exterminated.

(Radio) “A bear was witnessed. Never approach.”

The bear was witnessed at Shirakaba 4-chome, Chitose City.

Around 5 am on the 17th, there was sighting information of two bears wandering around the house.

According to the police, a police officer who was patroling following receiving a report also confirmed a bear regarding 2 meters in length.

At the kindergarten in the vicinity, caution is spreading, such as attending a kindergarten with a guardian.

In a subsequent search, Chitose City exterminates a 1.4-meter-long bear found in Izumisawa, Chitose City at 10:10 am.

It was judged to be dangerous because of the content of the report that “I was rushing for compost” and the fact that I might not escape even if there were witnesses.

The police and Chitose City are still on the lookout for patrols, considering that there is another bear.
