Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) found buried in a forest 14 engines used for environmental destruction in the state of Bolívar, as detailed this Saturday by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Hernández Lárez indicated that the tasks are carried out in the “framework of search operations, detection and dismantling of illegal activities in the forest reserves and national parks of the Bolívar state.”

On the other hand, the head of the Ceofanb also announced through a tweet how the destruction of a mining raft is carried out, all this under the framework of activities once morest environmental destruction.

“Mining rafts are prohibited, as they are multiplying factors of environmental destruction. The Natural Parks, Forest Reserves and Hydrographic Basins are Areas Under the Special Administration Regime where all types of mining activities are prohibited”, highlighted Hernández Lárez.

The FANB seeks to guarantee compliance with the Regulations of the Organic Law for Territory Planning on Administration and Management of National Parks and Natural Monuments, in protection and sovereignty of these environments, according to Últimas Noticias.
