What climate to expect?

The climate of this part of the United States is continental with, depending on the season, warm and humid currents which rise from the south or, on the contrary (in winter), masses of cold and dry air descend from the northwest. Consequence: summers are hot (25/30°C on average) with a certain heat locally, and winters are long and cold, if not very cold with temperatures easily falling below 0°C. In addition, the region can also experience heavy snowfall at this time.

Likewise, the south of Mid‑Atlantic experiences average temperatures at least 3 or 4 degrees higher in the north in all seasons, such as between the cities of New York and Washington.
