Discovering the Exciting World of Tennis and Padel: WLSB Info Tour Scheduled for September 21, 2024

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, the Württemberg State Sports Association (WLSB) invites you to an information tour of the tennis facility of the Böblingen Sports Association.

Under the motto Game, set, match – from the tennis/padel court to the lighting system“ Participants will gain exciting insights into the planning, construction and modernization of tennis and padel courts as well as innovative LED lighting systems.

As part of the event, experts such as Matthias Renz (Sportstättenbau Garten Moser) and representatives of leading lighting suppliers will present valuable insights and practical examples. The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a welcome from the WLSB and representatives of the association, during which Klaus Berner, Vice President of the WTB, will give a welcoming speech. This will be followed by specialist presentations on padel court planning, tennis court renovation and LED lighting for outdoor courts and tennis halls.

The last items on the program were particularly practical: modern LED lighting systems were presented directly during on-site visits to the tennis facilities of VfL Sindelfingen and TC Maichingen. Participants were given the opportunity to experience the advantages of this technology and the input from the presentations in practice.
