The 100,000 euros promised to the winner of “Koh-Lanta, the sacred fire”, in which we could see the Genevan Martinwere won by Frédéric, at the end of a long evening which ended live with the counting of the ballots for the final jury on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
The final had as usual started with the famous and difficult test of the poles, during which Tania, Frederic and Nicolas had to hold their balance as long as possible, in full sun and in the face of gusts of wind. After 1h30, Nicolas fell first, followed very closely by Tania. Winner, Frédéric – who had just injured his foot – was able to choose his last opponent. Contrary to what he had promised Nicolas, he decided to take Tania with him before the final jury. A strategic decision because he feared to find himself facing an opponent that all the other candidates greatly appreciated.
In front of Quentin, Clémence, Esteban, Nicolas, Gilles, Helena, Laura, Julie and Anne-Sophie, Tania and Frédéric still had a few minutes to explain why, in their opinion, they deserved to win. And it was ultimately Frédéric who convinced the most people. He won seven votes, against two for Tania. The Frenchman will use part of this money to develop his restaurant business and another for his marriage to Marine, which will take place on July 1, 2023.
Finally, note that Denis Brogniart announced that a new season of “Koh-Lanta” was already in preparation.
