In Morocco, the National 4×4 museum in Merzouga hides some well-buried treasures. In 2013, a video circulated on Youtube showing a Jeep Wrangler very strange circulating on Moroccan roads. Very strange, since it was a vehicle built from two glued Jeeps. A unique model of Siamese car in a way!
In reality, it is unlikely that you will come across this vehicle on the roads during a stay in Morocco, because it is more of a expositional model belonging to the national 4×4 museum of Merzouga. This funny museum, however, looks much more classic: it is dedicated to the exhibition of SUV models used in the region to face driving in the Sahara desert. But obviously, it also has some surprising pieces!
A well-kept Siamese Jeep Wrangler model deep in Morocco
One of a kind, this double Jeep Wrangler has no less than eight seats, even though it only has two doors. As evidenced by the video that circulated in 2013, it is not just a simple exhibition model insofar as it is possible to drive it. Nevertheless, it has no other uses than to be exhibited in the 4×4 museum of Merzouga. How else might it be put to good use?
Everything is double in this car except, of course, the wheels. The various photos of this Jeep show that it is equipped with a double axle for the wheels, a double bumper as well as a double grille. The middle of the car also demonstrates that it is indeed a fusion between two Jeeps, and not a model built in a single block.

What characterizes this car is also the lack of information regarding it. Why was this Siamese Jeep designed? Visibly, no history is not provided by the museum. Even more surprisingly, the same museum exhibits another model of Jeep, this time narrower than normal! It would seem then that a local manufacturer or designer had fun changing the size of the Jeep Wrangler.
The double Jeep is starting to get a bit old, so its performance doesn’t have to match the most modern models. But once more, no information is provided on this point. It is likely that it is at least equipped with a V6 engine, either 3.6 liters or 3.8 liters. In any case, it is certainly one of the weirdest cars never built!
