The public and the jury, made up of members of the various professional associations in the tourism sector and the press, decided on the winners in five categories from around seventy projects. The criteria selected were originality, innovation, success of the project, customer orientation, sustainability of the project and efforts to make it accessible to people with reduced mobility.
“Queering Brussels”, by the non-profit organization L’architecture qui degendere, stood out in the category of daring new project, the “Kunstenfestivaldesarts 2022” won the award in the “Brussels on stage” category. The award for digital innovation was awarded to “Kinshasa Now @ VirtualPalace”, by SPRL Retinehotel, that for best nightlife experience was to the “Listen Festival 2022” and that of sustainable initiative to the “Brussels Beer Project stop far export”.
In the co-creation category, the award was given to “In.out.siders”, by the non-profit organization LaVallée, and the public vote rewarded “StrEat Fest”, by the non-profit organization Tatou Production.
