This is a stage that marks the end of middle school. The first important exam for the 42,214 students of the Bordeaux academy who took the middle school certificate in 2024.
Everyone worked on Monday July 1 and Tuesday July 2 on the French, math, science, history-geography/moral and civic education tests, as well as an oral exam.
The results of the Bordeaux academy are available from 1 p.m. on July 11. Discover the results of the brevet in our search engine: enter your academy, for example Bordeaux, and enter the names and first names of the candidates.
The mathematics and French tests are each marked out of 100 points. History-geography/civics and moral education is marked out of 50 points, as is science. Finally, the oral exam, consisting of a presentation and an interview, is marked out of 100 points.
In addition to these 400 points, there are 400 additional points, which are part of continuous assessment and are assessed by the students’ teachers.
You must obtain at least 400 points out of 800 to be admitted to the brevet. A pass mark is awarded for points above 480, a pass mark is awarded for points above 560 and a pass mark is awarded for points above 640.
