So, at the start, the engine will support languages such as C ++ and C #, but there will also be a simple scripting language. Thanks to him, it will be possible to create games without deep knowledge in programming.
Nau Engine will also include visual programming tools and zero-coding. The engine will be supported on several operating systems, including Linux. It is noted that the developers plan to support the assembly of projects for the Web and support for mobile platforms and consoles.
According to the authors of the project, it is planned to support all common graphics APIs, such as DirectX12, Vulcan, Metal, and Ray Tracing and DLSS graphics technologies. It will also be possible to use neural networks in the Nau Engine.
Earlier it became known that the engine is being created on the principle of open source, it will be available to authors with any qualification – users will have at their disposal a “powerful core” and a convenient editor.
