Robb Report, an American luxury lifestyle magazine, lists Al Mamoun, the largest suite at La Mamounia, on its list of the 50 most beautiful hotel suites, penthouses and train carriages. Built on an area of 212 m2, this suite is distinguished by its oriental and Moorish decoration with Asian accents. It owes its entry into the ranking to its charm, its authenticity and the quality of the service offered there. “To travel back in time to the hotel’s origins in 1923, settle into the Al Mamoun Suite, comprising two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Filled with antiques, artwork, tiles, rich upholstery, inlaid tables and chandeliers, it blends oriental ornamentation with baroque in what must be a decorative first,” describes the magazine.
