Two parks await visitors with all kinds of amenities in the Al Warqa area of Dubai. By spending eighty lakhs of dirhams, Dubai Municipality has prepared parks where family members can spend time enjoying together. The park is arranged in one and four districts of Al Warqa region.
Dubai Municipality has launched the Family Squares and Recreation Facility project with the aim of building 125 parks, family entertainment squares and playgrounds in Dubai. The project was conceived in accordance with the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, to improve the quality of life of the citizens of the emirate and provide the best possible services. Between 2019 and 2021, 70 such systems have been set up. Dawood Al Hajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said that 55 family parks and recreational facilities will be built in the coming months at a cost of 9.3 million dirhams. He also stated that this is part of Dubai Municipality’s efforts to build public parks and recreational facilities that will improve the quality of life in the emirate.
Currently, Dubai Municipality aims to establish four Family Squares. Two of them have been completed in Al Warqa One and Four districts. Daoud Al Hajiri said that the construction of the other two in Al Nahda One and Hor Al Ans East is progressing and will be completed soon.
Family Entertainment Squares can be used to organize small events as well as spend time with the family. All the family spaces are designed to suit the discerning guests along with various recreational and sports facilities.
