ABU DHABI, 18th April / WAM / The Archives and the National Library organized three digital Ramadan highlights in the blessed month of Ramadan, which were full of specialized cultural discussions, in which elite specialists and strategic partners participated, and shed light on the role of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul – In supporting humanitarian work, and the leadership followed its path until it ranked first in the world on this indicator.

The virtual Ramadan sessions also focused on scientific research, the role of the archive and the national library in this field, and the national knowledge it provides to students, which enhances their belonging to the homeland and their loyalty to its wise leadership.

The first session – which was moderated by Hind Al Zaabi, an educational program specialist in the Archives and the National Library – was as close as possible to a discussion session in which the strategic partners of the Archives and the National Library participated, who unanimously agreed on the importance of what the Archives and the National Library offer in terms of spreading national culture, and strengthening belonging to the homeland and loyalty to its wise leadership. , consolidating the national identity, and instilling the seeds of good citizenship in the hearts of generations.

The second Ramadan celebration, entitled “Human Giving is the Rooting of Civilized Values,” and it was moderated by Mohamed Ismail Abdullah, an educational program specialist in the Archives and the National Library, coincided with Zayed Day for Humanitarian Action, as it emphasized that the founder and builder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul – He paid special attention to humanitarian work; It is one of the characteristics of the formation of his humanitarian personality, who loves benevolence and giving, and he has made humanitarian work a national approach and a strategic vision for the United Arab Emirates.

The last digital Ramadan highlight was on “Scientific Research Services between Reality and Aspirations” and was moderated by Muhammad Ismail Abdullah, and emphasized the importance of the archive and the National Library’s publications, its documentary treasures and its library in serving researchers and facilitating their research tasks related to the history of the UAE.

It should be noted that the three Ramadan highlights provided the audience with an introduction to the archive and the National Library, its vision and mission, and the services it provides to researchers and the public in general. The largest archival event to be hosted by Abu Dhabi from 9-13 October.
